Regarding the Mathcad Plus 6.0 Review by Orlando E. Raola

I'm not sure what version Mr. Raola is using, but I've beta tested their product last August and found many deficiencies in their product, including the inability to work with other applications (try copy/paste between Mathcad and any other Mac application), lack of adherence to Macintosh human interface guidelines, and the fact that it's performance leaves much to be desired (when compared to a similar Wintel CPU).

I have noted over 100 bugs in their beta test program which made it into the release version. You may find it at the following web sites. Note especially the detailed discussion I had with their product manager
at last month's Macworld Expo.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me via email. Like some other MacWEEK reviews, I feel that this one was rather rushed any may actually be a disservice to your readers who expect a Mac
program, having been given a 4 star rating.

Thank you,
