I was one of the many thousands of Jericho fans who lobbied to save the show from cancellation last year. However, I was unable to watch any of Season 2 until today when I finished all seven episodes in one sitting.
Although I wish that there would be a Season 3, CBS has cancelled Jericho and the finale brings closure to the show on a positive note - the corrupt Cheyenne government should fall and the United States restored. Any resemblance to the current political situation is purely coincidental
I’m looking forward to the DVDs.

The yearly exercise of Mac geekery and unbridled consumerism known as Macworld Expo has just concluded, and the damage as been limited to under $500

From left to right - EyeTV Hybrid, software, and freebie bag, iPod protective film and leather case, Speck swag, Kensington 3-in-1 cable, iPod touch, iFrogz Treadz case, and Leopard. Special thanks to the iFrogz representative on the show floor. I didn’t get his name, but he gave me a free Treadz case as the show booths were being taken down 15 minutes before closing time. It’s really a good case — I will probably get another one.

Greetings from Macworld San Francisco! This blog post courtesy of Tango Tax, who have the best booth, as can be seen by this picture taken from their iMac blogging stations:

This isn’t cheap beer folks, it’s Gordon Biersch Märzen from a keg. I’m not that drunk — yet.

I bought my first HDTV just in time for the writers strike to end the new TV season (I was so looking forward to another season of “24″). Marc Andressen speculates that an extended strike that involves the actors and directors may accelerate the transformation of Hollywood into a more decentralized and competitive market. The entertainment industry may leave California the same way aerospace left 15 years ago.
