So the Republicans would like to expand offshore oil drilling. Well, they should read this report on the aftermath of hurricane Ike and reconsider. Whether it’s a hurricane on the Gulf Coast or an earthquake and tsunami on the West Coast, we’ve already built up a scenario for environmental disaster - we don’t have to make it worse by blindly following the McCain/Palin agenda of “drill, baby, drill”.
