If this article is true, then it doesn’t really matter who wins the midterm elections tomorrow. The chaos in Iraq will eventually lead to an American withdrawal, leaving behind a failed state suitable for takeover by Al Qaeda. Unlike Afghanistan, Iraq has better infrastructure, oil reserves, and a largely anti-American population. In addition, we may have brought terrorism right to the borders of our two closest allies Israel and Jordan.
Who has done the best job promoting radical Islamic terror? It’s probably a tossup between Osama and George.
